This is my 100th post....and it makes me sad, but its a good sad

It's funny that this post falls on the date of my birth, it wasn't planned that way I just happened to find this video on Punk News.

I knew it was true, but hearing it from Tom Delonge just makes it all the more disheartening. I'll be the first to admit that one of my greatest guilty pleasures is Blink 182's 1997 album Dude Ranch. It came out while I was in high school and of course I'm a big fan of their poomor. So it just one of those albums that sticks with me. The melodies are memorable, and the lyrics consistently make me smile.

Oh nostalgia!

If no one else is aware....80's cultural phenomenon Boy George, of Culture Club fame, is going on tour this summer in North America for the first time in 10 years...no not just as a DJ, but as a performer.

Skeletal Lamping is done!!!

It brings me great pleasure to announce that one of this decades best pop bands, Of Montreal, has finished their latest master piece "Skelatal Lamping". I haven't actually heard any of the songs yet, but I'm basing my judgement on the last ten years of music produced by Kevin Barnes & Co.

Skelatal Lamping, isn't due till October. But Mr. Barnes can be quoted as saying such things like this, "I wanted to make an album that was unpredictable and, at times, startling, yet always hummable and catchy.", and "I did this to keep the listener off guard and to dismantle people's perception of how an album is supposed to be constructed." about the album over on their Myspace.

I don't know about you, but I'm sold.
