Way back in the days before Indie rock was a real genre? Well I do, and one of the bands that shaped a lot of my tastes was Elephant 6 band Olivia Tremor Control. It was bands like them and Neutral Milk Hotel that started me down the road to musical snobdom. But I digress...
NPR's All Songs Considered featured a new untitled song by the current reincarnation of the OTC, Circulatory System. Its got all the free form experimentalism that made OTC such an important piece in Elephant 6 and all of Indie rock's roots. Circulatory System will hopefully be putting out a new record this fall.
