Brazil's CSS has release the first track off their follow up album, Donkey, due out mid-summer. Rat Is Dead doesn't follow the typical electro-based dance pop that has been synonymous with CSS and their last album. Still upbeat and funky. The now 5 piece band's newest song has more melodic guitar lines at the front instead of layered in between loads of distortion and beats. This song is definitely a step in a new direction for CSS. Rat, itself holds up very well but with the possible departure from the bands sound it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the album turns out.
